ORIGINS

Raised in rural Texas, I grew up in a modest home shared with my parents and older brothers. When family visited—and they often did—I would move to the living room sofa, transforming it into a space entirely my own.

Around me, I arranged the small treasures I loved most: collected rocks and shells, cherished playing cards, a mood ring, and my faithful stuffed companion, Brown Bear. Those objects were simple, but to me they represented imagination, comfort, and possibility.

That perspective has stayed with me throughout my life.

Today, while my home is larger and my sofa more permanent, I still believe beauty can be found in the overlooked and meaning can live inside the ordinary. What may seem insignificant to one person can become deeply valuable to another.

That belief continues to shape everything we do.
